About

I am a professor of media and digital sociology at the Université catholique de Louvain, where I direct the Observatory for Research on Media and Journalism. My work focuses on the circulation of information in the public sphere: disinformation, media coverage of environmental and health crises, and trust in science and the news media.

About this site and legal notice

This site is part of a digital sobriety approach. It is coded in HTML and CSS only and uses very few images in order to reduce the resources it consumes. It is inspired by the website of Lionel Dricot (Ploum.net). It uses the Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface and the Solarized colour palette to improve accessibility and reading comfort.

This site collects no data. It is, however, hosted on GitHub, so Microsoft may collect some data on its end, in particular visitors' IP addresses (see here).

All published texts are made available under a CC BY-NC licence.

The Python script I use to generate this static site is explained here and was updated with the help of Claude in June 2026.
