My research focuses on the circulation of information in public spaces in times of crisis and on how different social problems evolve over time.
My aim is to understand from a sociological perspective how distinct ‘informational spaces’ surround different social problems.
I have therefore been involved for the last ten years in various research projects on different social problems such as: radioactive waste management, the fight against poverty, the management of the ageing population, the fight against climate change and, recently, the Covid-19 crisis and the fight against disinformation.
I am currently involved as coordinators in the following projects: CoviCom (analysis of the Covid-19 infodemia in French-speaking Belgium), PANDORIX (Horizon of a future health crisis: Brussels population and health promotion) and Smart and Social Home Care.
